OnePlus has confirmed the launch of its new mid-range smartphone, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite, in India. The device will be revealed on June 24 at 7 PM IST, with pre-orders starting immediately on Amazon India. This model is set to replace the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite and is expected to be priced under Rs 20,000.
The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is expected to be a rebrand of the Oppo K12x but will feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset instead of the Snapdragon 695. It will boast a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2,100 nits peak brightness. This display will also incorporate Aqua Touch technology, ensuring it remains bright and smooth even in outdoor environments.
The camera system on the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite will include a dual rear camera setup headlined by a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). This setup also features a new aspherical lens designed to minimize aberrations and distortions, providing a wider field of view. The phone has been teased in a “Mega Blue” colorway, adding a vibrant option to its aesthetic.
Powering the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is a substantial 5,500mAh battery, supporting 80W wired fast charging. Additionally, it offers 5W reverse wireless charging, enabling users to charge other devices such as TWS earbuds and smartwatches. This combination of features makes the Nord CE 4 Lite a compelling option for those tuning a powerful and versatile mid-range smartphone.
