Alright, here’s my personal take on the pTron’s TWS BassBuds Pro after using them for a good month:
Sound Quality:
First off, let’s talk about the sound quality of the pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro. If you’re looking for the heavy bass like me, these buds are not preferrable, they do provide the minimal bass for the sound quality. They’re decent, but nothing mind-blowing in that department. Treble is dope and perfect. Don’t worry, where they shine is the microphone quality itself – crisp and clear, perfect for calls on the go and I never expected EarPods would give this much quality to it. Overall, their quite perfect in this budget-segment.
Playtime Hours:
As for playtime, I’m pretty satisfied with the pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro . I can go about my day without constantly worrying about charging them up. I’ve use it minimum 4 hours a day. Likely, for the percentage of your battery there is a low charge voice-assist on the buds and you can also know in the battery panel of your device. But, the voice assist on the TWS is annoying when it comes to low-charge like 10% of the battery, keeps repeating low charge and stuffs.
Case Cover Issue:
I’ve dropped pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro more times than I’d like to admit, but surprisingly, they’ve held up like champs. The case, though, not so much – it’s prone to scratches, and finding a decent cover for it has been a struggle. And, in the market it’s not yet launched for this particular model.
Noise Cancellation:
Noise cancellation is a pleasant surprise for the price point in this pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro. It’s not quite on level with the big players like Apple, but it does a solid job of drowning out the world around me. And if you have Dolby Atmos, these buds will definitely change your listening experience. Outdoor with this buds is totally perfect, thanks to the Noice Cancellation of the TWS, can’t even hear what the person next to you is speaking and be careful!.
Water-Resistant:
The fact of the pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro that they’re water-resistant is a huge plus for me, especially since for the gym-goers it a perfect minimal earbud for you. Still, I can’t help but worried about the microphone’s durability in wet conditions.
My Daily Consumption:
On average, I use these pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro for a couple of hours every day, and they’ve never disappointed me. For Gaming, if you’re playing more than 2+ Hours along with activated microphone in the game it run and go easily. For Movies, it’s not a big burden and you can watch 2-3 hours peacefully. Charging them is convenient with the Type-C cable, and the charging indicator on the case.
Connectivity Issue and Gesture Control:
Now, connectivity can be a bit finicky on the pTron TWS BassBuds Duo Pro at times, but I’ve found that holding down the EarPod usually does the trick. And while it took me a bit to get used to the gesture controls, they’re second nature to me now – although accidentally calling someone while trying to switch modes was a bit annoying at first. Then touching the gesture for picking call sometimes at the first made me decline. The most annoying thing, whenever you try to hold the Earpod it either Decline the Call or Play/Pause the music but lately it gets perfect.
Conclusion:
Overall, despite a few minor quirks, I’m pretty happy with the pTWS BassBuds Duo Pro. They deliver where it counts and won’t break anything. On the outdoor it has saved me from getting bored. Just plugin the EarPod and watch whatever you want. If your looking for it go Buy it without any fear.
