Apple iPhone 16 Latest Leaks

Leaked: iPhone 16 Pro Series to Feature Larger Displays, Ultra-Thin Bezels, and Major Camera Upgrades”

The upcoming iPhone 16 series, especially the Pro models, are expected to have minimal upgrades, including the thinnest bezels ever seen on a smartphone. Leaker Ice Universe reports that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will excel the iPhone 15 Pro and rival devices like those from Samsung in bezel thinness. The Pro model will increase in size to 6.3 inches from 6.1 inches, and the Pro Max will grow to 6.9 inches, making it the largest iPhone yet.

Apple is likely using Border Reduction Structure (BRS) technology to achieve these slimmer bezels, which involves a more efficient layout of the under-display circuitry. Previously, Apple used low-injection pressure over molding (LIPO) technology to reduce bezels on the iPhone 15 Pro to 1.5 millimeters. The iPhone 16 series aims to further enhance the display with this new tech.

In terms of cameras, the iPhone 16 Pro Max will feature a new Sony IMX903 sensor with a 48-megapixel resolution, while the Pro model will use the Sony IMX803 sensor, also at 48 megapixels. Both models will have a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera for better low-light performance and image quality. The Pro model will also match the Pro Max’s 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.

Design changes might include a no-button interface with capacitive touch and haptic feedback, a dedicated video capture button, and a standard Action button across the series. Both models will be powered by the new A18 Pro chipset.

Leaks suggest that the iPhone 16 Pro series will have an updated thermal design to prevent overheating, more advanced camera lenses, and a different display strategy. Images from leakers show that even small reductions in bezel size can significantly impact the phone’s appearance.

Overall, the iPhone 16 series is expected to bring larger displays, thinner bezels, improved cameras, better battery life, and advanced features, positioning it as a major upgrade over previous models.
